Honeoye Falls, located southeast of Rochester, NY, has a rich history dating back to its origins as a Seneca village. The village was founded in 1791 by Zebulon Norton, who was drawn to the area for its water power, establishing mills that laid the groundwork for the community. Over the years, it transformed from Norton’s Mills to West Mendon, and then to Honeoye Falls in 1838, evolving into a self-sufficient community with a diverse range of businesses and services.
